Picked up a camera in the early ’80s and honed my skills the old fashioned way — on film. Years of hard work and dedication have paid off for this local photographer often referred to as “One Shot Wong.”

I moved to Weatherford Tx in 1996 from Toronto, Canada and opened up Michael’s Studio. Business built slowly at first as I called on potential clients and the knowledge of my photographic talent spread via word of mouth. I am now photographing the third generation of local families.

In addition to studio work, I can also be found around town on weekends photographing youth sports teams, proms and other large banquet events. But my favorite subjects are children. I am able to joke, poke fun and connect with them in a way that helps them relax and give their best smile to the camera.
